Mariners’ Open House
On or about September 4th, 2024, Sunrise Wind LLC will commence pre-construction activities in New York State (NYS) waters, subject to public approvals. A Mariners’ Open House to communicate pre-construction activities in NYS waters will be held in person from 4-7pm on Wednesday, May 29th at 478 West Lake Drive in Montauk, NY, with the option to join online.
The Open House will be an opportunity for mariners and fisheries stakeholders to consult with Sunrise Wind LLC on the following topics: Horizontal Directional Drilling and cable pull through at Smith Point Park; temporary pier & barging route operations in the Intercoastal Water Way at Smith Point Park; and the installation of the Sunrise Wind export cable in NYS waters.
